A Tale from VBS from a Third Grader

I shared this link on Facebook and in the comment thread began a conversation with Mrs. Norris. Here is one of her entries that just warmed my heart-

You and Jake are doing a great job too... I've been meaning to share with you Sammie's observations at VBS... one day she just couldn't stop talking about how awesome Sawyer is... how he does EVERYTHING well, obeys, asks great questions, is respectful, considerate, etc... and she gave me so many examples of what he did to back it up... She says he's the perfect kid.

This is not the first time a Norris family member has said something wonderful about our Sawyer. Last school year Mrs. Norris shared what her class of sixth graders had said about him and his brother. Then, I believe, Madeline, the youngest Norris, had commented something precious about him as well. I can't find an entry for that one though. Now, Mr. and Mrs. Norris are always so complimentary of Sawyer.

I love this. I love that Sawyer is the same person no matter where he is or who he is with. I hope that remains true of his character as he gets older.

He makes me so proud!!!
