First Swear Word

A text from my mom:

After we got home from taking Granddad to work. We were watching Curious George and I told Sawyer that we would be doing some reading today. He said,"Oh damn" I asked...what did you say? And he repeated that statement. I asked him what damn meant and he said it was another way of saying,"oh man". I asked him if he knew what damn meant.  He said. No.  I told him it was not appropriate to use that word. I also asked where he had heard that used and he said he didn't know.

My response:

He picked it up from Big Bang. I haven't heard him say it but Jake told me he and Sawyer talked about it recently. Maybe it shouldn't but it makes me giggle. His first bad word. We'll all just have to keep reminding him it's not something we want to say and "oh man"'is what we should stick with.
