It is so hard to see my oldest struggle with the reality that other people's choices/ actions can steal his fun and freedom.
What am I talking about? A phone app called Roblox.
There are plenty of parents who feel this game is appropriate for their child. Awesome. That is their right as their child's parent.

I am the latter. Despite Common Sense Media giving it 4 out of 5 starts, a 10+ (age) recommendation, and a pretty positive review... the reviews by users/ parents were quite telling and ultimately swayed me away from allowing our son to play this game.
For me, it doesn't matter if the game is 99% safe. That 1% is the crucial element that can alter the landscape of my son's heart and mind (which it is my responsibility to guard and guide). Plus, there are plenty of other options as far as "cool apps" go... he will hardly be deprived.
I always thought I was going to be an "open" mom... allowing my kids more freedom than I had. Then I became a mom. The landscape my children are growing up in has dramatically changed from the backdrop of my youth. Technology has overtaken and "sheltering" our offspring has gone to a whole new level.

I HIGHLY encourage you to read the KIDS REVIEWS as well. Very concerning.
