Cell Phone Chit Chat

Talking about cell phones, I asked Jake "Who makes the Galaxy S III?"
Sawyer interjects, "God does."

A What?!?!....... NO WAY!

While taking a bath with Dempsey, Sawyer informed me he wants another
brother. I asked why and he said "because I love Dempsey so much... I
think boys are nice."

I inquired if he'd like a sister and he said "no, I prefer brothers".
Thankfully he answered that question right.

Jake asked what made him think of wanting another brother and Sawyer
said "My brain told me."

He is TOO much!

I started to talk to him about adoption but we didn't make any
headway. Another day, perhaps.

Fwd: Sawyerism

My mom sent this to me today:

I was playing Sudoku while he was playing Wii.  He asked me what I was doing.  I had him come over so I could show him what Sudoku was.  After a brief explanation, he said that was enough..." cause he sometimes has short term memory loss".

Time is Confusing

"A little of a lot... that's what doesn't make any sense..."

Sawyer was asking when Daddy would be home.  I said "two hours".  He told me "that's not a very long time." I replied with "well, it's about 120 minutes."  "120 minutes?!" he exclaimed.  "Yep."  "That doesn't make any sense.  That's a little of a lot of numbers."

He explained further, later, that what was really confusing to him (confused eyebrows and all) was that it was a little number (only TWO hours) but it meant a bigger number (ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY minutes).

We are constantly working on the concept of time.  I understand this will take many more years.
